The ES Riders is a nonprofit program part of The Life Beyond Foundation, Inc. We provide individuals, at no cost to them, “A Ride to Freedom.” This ride to freedom is shown through the electric scooters that we provide our riders with. Those living with disabilities or are veterans are the riders we mainly support. With that being said, May is an important month for all of us. May is Military Appreciation Month!
Military Appreciation Month takes place every year throughout the entire month of May. The entire month is designated to honoring past and present military members and their families. Some other military holidays throughout May include Loyalty Day, VE Day, Military Spouse Appreciation Day, Mother’s Day, Armed Forces Day, and Memorial Day! What a great month filled with so much appreciation. Military Appreciation Month reminds Americans to celebrate by paying tribute to those who have sacrificed so much for our own freedom. Let’s learn a little more about each military holiday.
Loyalty Day
May 1st – A special day for the reaffirmation of loyalty to the United States and for the recognition of the heritage of American Freedom
VE Day
May 8th – Celebrates the end of World War II on the European front
Military Spouse Appreciation Day
May 6th – Honors the military spouses who sacrifice so much in support of their service member
Mother’s Day
May 8th – Children show gratitude to the mother figures in their lives including our nation’s service members and military spouses
Armed Forces Day
May 21st – The day Americans celebrate their military forces. Proper day to honor both the men and women currently serving, as well as those who have previously served.
Memorial Day
May 30th – Honors service members who have died in military service in the nation

We are a proud nonprofit that supports Veterans and honors the service and sacrifice of members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Space Force, and National Guard. We also recognize the contributions of their spouses and family members.
Our mission and goals stay the same as we enter May and celebrate those current and former military members. We will continue to provide support and donate our electric scooters when we can.
