Rick MarshalA few weeks ago, ES Riders got the chance to meet back up with an old friend. That friend is Rick Marshal. Rick has had one of our donated scooters since 2016 and we met him through the previous owners of ES Riders. He has gone 6 years without needing any assistance with his donated scooter and we figured it was time to do some light maintenance work for him. President Charles Desrosiers met up with Richard Marchand to get to work on Rickโs scooter. They ended up providing new batteries from Batteries Plus and performing some light maintenance on the scooter. After doing this work, the scooter should have no problems for the next 6 years. We pride ourselves in providing quality scooters that will last our veterans a long time with little to no work needed. However, when there is something needed to be done, we are there for our veterans.
It is a pleasure it be able to meet back up with veterans we have helped in the past. It provides us with the chance to catch up and see how they are doing. Once we donate a scooter to someone, we do not just forget about them. We build personal connections with our veterans and are there to lend a helping hand with whatever they may need. We are always a call away if they need anything or simply want to talk. That is what makes what we do so great. The community we build for these veterans is amazing. We look forward to continuing our relationship with Rick and hope that he is happy with the maintenance we performed on his scooter.
Looking Ahead
Coming up April 12th, we are making another delivery in Canterbury, NH! This time we are donating a scooter to veteran William Silver. We are more than excited to meet him and his family and be able to provide this scooter for his mobility needs. It is always great to expand our network and meet new people. The fact that we can provide them with something that will make their lives so much easier is beyond rewarding.
