The candidates have received their scooters and have found their new found freedom ! Once again we all want to say Thank you to the ladies of the VFW of Franklin NH. And a very special thank you to Shirley LaBonte who was instrumental in starting and finishing this program.

We are proud to be the 2015-2016 cause for the ladies auxiliary in Franklin New Hampshire. They understand that many of our veterans have a hard time getting around on their own and can use our help to regain their freedom. ES Riders provides Seaways and scooters to Veterans and children in need. The VFW Auxiliary has already enough money to sponsor 2 scooters. Shirley LaBonte has asked that we find two veterans that need these scooters. It wasn’t hard to find 2. Here they are.

The first candidate is a US Navy veteran who struggles to walk even a few steps. Tim was awarded a scooter in the beginning of 2015 and used it every day. Unfortunately Tim’s scooter was lost in a tragic accident and left Tim in a very sad state of depression.When Tim called me to tell me about the accident I could hear the sadness in his voice and knew we had to find a way to get him another scooter. ALONG COME THE VFW AUXILIARY.

Tim will be the 1st candidate to get a scooter courtesy of the VFW Auxiliary.

Here is the VFW Auxiliaries second  Candidate.   Meet :Terry Perry US Air force veteran. Terry was discharged from the US Air Force because of MS. Terri stays active participating in the disabled sports program. Unable to walk for long distances a scooter will help Terri stay on the move.
